The data in the install-window is as follows:
(This is what hdtoolbox reads from the HD)

Cylinders:53620
Heads:5
Blocks Per Track:252
Blocks Per Cylinder:1260
Size:32,2G
Total Number of Blocks:67561200
Bytes pr.block:512
Park Head:53620

This info is written on the HD itself:
Deskstar DTLA-307075 76,8GB
150136560 sectors
CHS:16383/16/63

This is info from IBM web-page:

Capasity:75GB
Sector size:512 bytes
Recording Zone:15
User Cylinders:27724
Data Heads:10
Data Disks:5

if I accept the data in the install-window (size=32,2GB),save,and
enter the partition-window,theres 4 partitions of 8GB each there.
If I delete them, I still cant make one partition bigger than 32GB.
But in the top of the partition window, it still says:
Partitions on SCSI Address 1,LUN:0, Size 71,5GB.

This disk is slave because I have another IBM 15GB HD as master,
and that disk has worked flawlessly since I installed it.

So, when I go ahead with those 8GB partitions and install PFS3
on them, and save & reboot, the partitions are not mounted so
I can not even format them.Making a mountlist with HDToolbox
enables me to mount and format them.

But I won't bother, since they are too small anyway.

I also tried installing the disk with HDInsttools, and then partition it
with HDToolbox:

HDInsttools reads the geometry this way:

Cylinders:536202
Heads:1
Blocks Per Track:280
Blocks Per Cylinder:280
Size:71,5G
Total Number of Blocks:150136560
Bytes pr.block:512
Park Head:0

at least the disk-size and number of blocks are correct.

Ok,I go ahead and partition it like I want to, three partitions
like this:3,8GB/33,8GB/33,8GB

I put PFS3 on all of them (060-version V18,5) with 500 buffers,
maxtransfer 0x01fe00 and mask 0x7ffffffe, dostype 0x50445303

but still, after a save and reboot, the partitions do not appear
on dopus-screen, or in any format requester, (Hide bad
disks is not enabled),so I have to make a mountlist and
mount all three manually, though automount is selected
on all of them. After formatting each partition with pfsformat,
another thing is wrong.Opening one of the 33GB partitions,
dopus claims theres 65GB free, while on the other one there is
only 4GB free. And still after formatting, all still needs to be
mounted manually.I tried putting ffs on the 3,8GB partition
instead of pfs,but it still would not automount.

so, where do I go from here?

Regards
